Fight for Right – The Voice of Unheard Victims Welfare Society (FFR Punjab) is a registered NGO founded in 2017 by Advocate Simranjit Kaur Gill. We exist to protect children from sexual abuse and ensure every survivor receives justice, healing, and dignity.

Our mission is clear and uncompromising: to give voice to the silenced, to protect the vulnerable, to demand accountability, and to create a safe environment where victims can heal, seek justice, and reclaim their dignity. Through legal support, counselling, rehabilitation, advocacy, and unwavering solidarity, we fight so that no victim remains unheard and no right remains unrealised.

Registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in 2021, we have grown into a network of over 100 volunteers and 50 founder members across five regional zones in Punjab and seven international zones.
Our belief: We do not just fight cases. We fight for the right of every child to grow up free from fear. We turn victims into warriors.

Fight for Right – The Voice of Unheard Victim Welfare Society is a multi-dimensional organisation dedicated to standing with the unheard, the vulnerable, and the voiceless across Punjab.
Our work is guided by a deep commitment to justice, dignity, and holistic protection. The key areas of our intervention include:
1. Protection of Children A comprehensive child protection programme covering awareness & prevention, free legal aid (from FIR to final judgment), rescue & safe placement, counselling & rehabilitation, and reintegration with education — with special focus on preventing child marriage and supporting survivors of abuse.
2. Protection of Environment Working to safeguard the natural environment that sustains communities, recognising that a healthy environment is essential for the safety and well-being of the most vulnerable.
3. Forestation Actively promoting and participating in tree plantation and afforestation drives to restore green cover, combat climate impact, and create a healthier environment for future generations.
4. Flood Relief Providing immediate and sustained relief support to flood-affected families, including rescue assistance, essential supplies, and rehabilitation support during and after natural disasters.
5. Education for Destitute Students Supporting underprivileged and destitute students, with special emphasis on enabling them to pursue professional courses so they can build independent, dignified, and secure futures.
Through these interconnected efforts, Fight for Right works to ensure that no child remains unprotected, no community is left unsupported in times of crisis, and no deserving student is denied the opportunity to rise through education.

Our work spans awareness, legal aid, rescue, counselling, rehabilitation, and prevention of child marriage — a holistic approach to child protection across Punjab. We intervene where the system fails, protect where the environment is unsafe, and stand unwaveringly with the child whose rights have been violated.

Jan Jan Di Eh Awaaz – Bal Shoshan Mukt Punjab
Our flagship Save Childhood Campaign is the heart of Fight for Right. Officially launched on 6 November 2019, it received statewide permission from SCERT Punjab to conduct awareness seminars in all government and private schools.
We produced the short film “Bas Hun Hor Nahi” (Enough is Enough) to spread awareness on a larger scale.
Awareness, timely reporting, and strong support systems can break that silence. Together we can make Punjab free from child sexual abuse.
